Should you wish to become a Freemason, or require some more information, use the e-mail address in the first instance. By sending an e-mail you are not committing yourself to anything at this stage. We will contact you as soon as possible.

Many people might think that to become a Freemason is quite difficult, probably because of the secrecy that is assumed to exist. But in reality Freemason's Lodge are in every town and have signs outside to show that they are Masonic Lodges! Becoming a Freemason is a quite straightforward process.

We require that every candidate believes in a Supreme Being. This is not a religious requirement. Each person has his own way of believing ... be they Christian, Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, Jew or any other faith... and those beliefs are respected.  All we ask is the overriding belief in a Supreme Being.  Your specific religion is a matter for you alone.

It is usual for candidates to be "mature men of 21 years and over", but in some circumstances candidates between the ages of 18 and 21 can be admitted.
